If you’re living in a heatwave like we are here in California (although I am happy it’s starting to become a bit more bearable now), then you may be on the lookout for some tropical smoothies to enjoy. Especially with autumn slowly starting, why not enjoy the last of the tropics before we move onto more cozy, warming recipes?
So, today I thought I would share my go-to tropical green smoothie that I make for us or our friends, when we want a fresh and nutrient-rich smoothie either for breakfast or as a midday snack.
- Handful of frozen mango
- Handful of frozen pineapple
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 cup coconut water (or plain water)
- Handful of baby spinach
- It’s super simple- just pop everything into a blender and blend until smooth! I like my smoothies thick, but if you want something a bit more light and runny, feel free to add more water.
