Earlier this week I had the pleasure of going to the Ivy in Cobham for their 2nd birthday celebration. They held a summer garden party in collaboration with Silent Pool Gin and invited me to come a long with a friend.
I had been to the Ivy in Cobham when it just opened up, so it was lovely to be back and take my friend Gabija along for a mini girl’s day!
You may have seen stories from the day on my Instagram already, but if you didn’t have a chance- it was an amazing evening. The weather was lovely, there was a live trio playing beautiful jazz music and we were spoiled with the most delicious drinks, canapés and desserts!
We started the evening off with some gorgeous Ivy Champagne and then moved on to some of the Silent Pool Gin cocktails. Gabija got the Camomile Garden’ including Silent Pool Gin, honey water & Fever Tree Indian Tonic, finished with a spritz of camomile aromatics and garnished with a kaffir lime leaf and orange. It was a light and refreshing G&T with a twist, whilst I chose the ‘Silent Sparkle’ featuring Silent Pool Gin, ginger & lemongrass cordial, lime juice, Ivy Champagne and garnished with dried lavender, as I am a massive Champagne fan. It was the perfect drink for me- light, refreshing but also a bit tart! Utterly delicious.
Throughout the evening, there were canapés served and we indulged in a variety of them- from mini steak pieces, lobster and avocado rolls to incredible tomato, basil tartlets… out tastebuds were buzzing.
We got the best seat in the house- right by the beautiful blue flower decorations and in front of the live band, but when dessert came out we moved over to the lawn by the river. Desserts included white chocolate passionfruit lollypops, creme brûlée filled donuts (oh myyyyy) and berry and cream tartlets. It was definitely a cheat meal well worth it!
I’ve been to the Ivy restaurants quite a few times, especially the one in Guildford, but going to one of their events is always wonderful as the service and the attention to detail is incredible. It really was the perfect start to a British summer!
If you have the chance to visit the Ivy Cobham Brasserie this, make sure to go before the 26th of August, to enjoy their beautiful terrace and these signature cocktails feature Silent Pool Gin!
Sounds like a great event and really nice photos 🙂
