Holidays at Home

Hey everyone, happy Sunday!

I am now back in Guildford, sitting in bed with my laptop and a glass of rosé, typing up this blogpost before going to read a new book I got and wind down before work tomorrow. I came back to England a week before Jonas as I have to get back to work. It’s a bit quiet and lonely at home at the moment and I am definitely already missing Lithuania, but I am trying to make the most of it!

While I have a very exciting series that will start on my blog in the months to come (blogpost coming soon), I wanted to share some photos from my holidays at home in Lithuania. I was there for 2 weeks and had the most wonderful time! It snowed pretty much the whole time I was there, leaving the scenery beautiful and white.

We were busy every day- from Christmas Eve, to a spa getaway, a concert, New Year’s eve and many wonderful meals with friends and family, I don’t recall a single day of doing nothing. That may not sound like a holiday to you, but to me it was perfect! When I go home I like to stay busy so that I know I did as much as I could and saw as many people as possible. Even looking through these photos as I type this post is making me want to go back so bad!

I can’t wait for Jonas to come back as I know I might get quite lonely alone in the flat, so hopefully this week of work will run by quick! It also seems like quite a few of our friends are going to visit us this Spring as well as my parents, so I can’t wait for everyone to come and visit and many more exciting things to come in 2019!

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday evening and a great week ahead 🙂 Speak soon!
