Visiting Margaret Dabbs London in Guildford

So a few weeks ago I was invited to go and visit the newly opened up Margaret Dabbs London clinic in Guildford. Situated in Chapel Street, right off of the high street, the location was easily accessible 🙂 I was invited to the opening night event but wasn’t able to make it so I then went in for a complimentary treatment to see what the clinic was like and what they had to offer:)

I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and my therapist- Lisa, who offered me some coffee or tea. I had my own in hand so decided to skip out on it this time around but I’m sure I’ll get some next time! The space was cosy and warm- already with Christmas deals and products all about:) The ground floor reception area and pedicure chairs then lead to the stairs up to where the private treatment rooms are for clinical pedicures, waxes, joint analysis and laser treatments. Each treatment room is really clean and comfortable as well as very private which I thought was one of the best parts of Margaret Dabbs! In total they have 4 podiatry rooms, 1 beauty room and the nail spa in the reception area!

I received the medical pedicure and my toes & feet were pretty much perfected in the 1 hour I was there! Lisa nicely filed and buffed my nails, delicately cleaned up cuticles and softened my soles whilst also using the beautiful and all-natural Margaret Dabbs product range to keep my nails and skin healthy! Lisa was also nice enough to talk me through the treatment and tell me all about the clinic and what it has to offer!

All the tools are sterilsed at very high temperatures to ensure everything is fully cleaned and hygienic- this is something that puts me off of other salons as seeing tools not properly cleaned makes me cringe! Another bonus point that makes me want to come back is that although they have standard working hours, they are very flexible and can often fit you in an early morning or late evening slot- just call in advance and they will do their best to set up a time that is convenient for you!!

Alongside manicures, pedicures, medical pedicures, tinting and waxing treatments, some other things on offer at the clinic include laser treatments! Lasers can eradicate nail fungus, verrucas, are painless and without any side effects. At Margaret Dabs they use a lower laser light and can heal injuries, improve recovery after surgery, treat achilles tendonitis, eliminate joint pain and on hands- the laser treatments can be used to reduce age spots! The laser treatments last minutes and several treatments can apparently do wonders as it helps increase circulation and rejuvenate the skin.

Another rather interesting treatment that they offer is biomechanics- it is used to observe and help treat hip pain, knee pain, sports injuries, prevention of bunions and so forth. One assessment visit is done and then treatment is selected and recommended depending on what you personally need 🙂 For example, if you have problems with your feet being flat- they can even customise insoles to help reduce any pain and discomfort!

Overall, the Margaret Dabbs Clinic in Guildford was wonderful and the staff were an absolute delight! I can’t wait to stop by the next time I want a pedicure or even a manicure as it would be wonderful to try out their other treatments! Make sure to visit the clinic yourself! Their phone number is: +44 (0)1483 440367 if you want to call in for more info or set up an appointment!

Speak soon! xx
