Dinner at Fifteen by Jamie Oliver

Hey everyone! Thanks for all your support and likes on my first youtube video! It was so much fun to make and share- can’t wait to put more content up in the future! 🙂

On Wednesday we met up with my brother Raimundas in London. We went to a very interesting lecture and then headed out for dinner at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant Fifteen. I’ve always been a fan of Jamie and his shows, cook books and kitchen items, but never had the chance to visit Fifteen! We decided to take him there as he missed out on our vacation in Bordeaux due to revision and deadlines. We had an amazing evening, ate so much food  and had a great time. The menu had a vast amount of choices and everything was so fresh and delicious!

We started off with a sourdough bread basket, some short rib croquettes to start and they shared some fresh oysters too.

For starters Raimundas and I chose the fresh Dorset Crab, while Jonas chose the Burrata. The starters were amazing- so fresh and light with such incredible additions that paired very nicely! I loved the crunch the Granny Smith apples added to the crab!

For our mains we all chose differently. Jonas chose the lamb which was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Raimundas got pork which also looked incredible and I chose the cod with cabbage and shrimp. It was absolutely delicious and the sides we shared (crispy potato cake and watercress salad) went perfectly together with our mains.

Being the dessert lovers that we are, we couldn’t leave without trying out what they had to offer. Raimundas tried out the Tarocco orange marmalade, polenta cake with yogurt sorbet and cacao nibs- this was so delicious and such a delight for any orange lover. Jonas got an incredible Goats curd cheese cake with rhubarb, rhubarb caramel and oat meal. So light and fresh and definitely something new being that it was a Goats cheese cheesecake! And me- being the chocolate lover that I am chose the organic chocolate mousse that came with hazelnut ice cream and salted maple caramel. It was incredible- not too sweet but oh so decadent. The ice cream paired incredibly well and was an amazing end to a wonderful dinner!

I highly recommend Fifteen and suggest you book in advance as the place can get quite busy! It was an amazing evening filled with incredible food! I’m definitely going to come back soon! Xx
