Barcelona Travel Diary

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I have been sick for the past week so stayed at home the last two days and didn’t go to lectures. A bit sad about that, but I am finally feeling much better after sleeping until noon yesterday! Since I had so much free time and couldn’t focus too much on work, I decided to prepare this blogpost with you all consisting of photos from my trip to Barcelona!

I went on amazing trip with my family a couple of weeks ago for a long weekend and fell in love with this beautiful city. We did quite a lot of sightseeing and I have collected hundreds and hundred of photos, but I’ll just share some of the snapshots of the things we did and got to see! I may do some random posts in the future with more Barcelona photos (since I did take loads in front of beautiful scenery and beautiful walls), but for now this is the main bulk! If I had the time for it- I would write and endless blogpost all about our trip, but let me just say that the weather was incredible, the sangria and paella we had – absolutely delicious and the city itself was amazing! I loved the architecture, especially on La Rambla street and all around the gothic centre- all the beautiful houses had amazing balconies and gorgeous window shields. The architecture of the Cathedral and of Sagrada Familia blew me away. Sagrada Familia was definitely my favorite building I saw and I highly recommend taking an audio tour if you go. There is so much detail and so many stories to explain why the Basilica looks the way it does! 🙂 I also loved going to mount Tibidabo (although walking all the way up was a bit scary) and especially loved the view we got from Montserrat right before our flight back to London… I fell in love with Barcelona and hope to visit there sometime in the future! Okay, now enough of me rambling and hope you enjoy the photos!

p.s. I’ve put a little caption of where the photos were taken in case you want to go visit these places and let me know which photos were your favorite! 🙂 Xx speak to you soon!
