Afternoon Tea & Anniversary

As you all may know, it was mine and Jonas’s 4 year anniversary this past Sunday! As I normally leave on Sundays we decided to go celebrate on Saturday and did so by going to our favourite afternoon tea place- The Park Room at Grosvenor House Hotel. We’ve been there multiple times but haven’t gone since October! As we are both trying to be extra healthy and I workout everyday- it was a treat worth remembering and indulging in! The Park Room recently had a renovation and the interior has been changed alongside the menu. This intrigued me to go there even more! I loved the new look of the place- it’s so light, so open and so beautiful! It was always so lovely, but the abundance of glass and mirrors everywhere makes the place look even more open and big. The flowers in the centre of the room also made a big statement!

Our afternoon tea was exquisite as always, with new sandwiches and some new desserts to try as well as an amuse bouche of strawberry-raspberry soda which I distinctively remember enjoying very much! As we haven’t enjoyed this wonderful tradition in a long time, we actually forgot how full you get from this amazing meal. I wasn’t able to eat half as much as I used to a while ago, but I must say- everything was so delicious!

I definitely recommend going for afternoon tea there if you haven’t before! I have a more in-depth review on my blog as well, but I must say I always leave feeling pampered and never disappointed! Xx
