Morning guys! I don’t know about you, but I have always been a massive smoothie fan in the morning! I like testing out new combinations, using different superfoods and sharing the ones I like the most with you all! I know most of us know about the delicious combination of strawberry and banana- it’s a classic widely available in many supermarkets and restaurants, but my favorite way to make this smoothie is a bit different than normal! I not only use frozen banana to get a more thick and luscious consistency, but also a superfood I am now officially obsessed with- Baobab! It’s full of vitamin C, fibre and full of antioxidants! So it’s perfect for keeping your skin healthy, maintaining your energy levels, increasing iron absorption and boosting your immunity! It’s such a lovely smoothie to have in the morning, especially for someone like me, who likes to have something light and energising before their morning workout! 1 frozen banana
1 cup milk of your choice
1/2 cup strawberries
1 packet of baobab powder
1. Cut off the stems of the strawberries if you want and put all the ingredients into a high-speed blender. You can add more milk if you want it to be more runny, but I love it when it’s thick!
2. Blend until smooth and light pink in colour- Enjoy!
