Friday Favorites #3

Friday Favorites

Another friday has arrived! For me it’s actually earlier than some people as I had only half a day of work today and left at lunch time. I am on my way to guildford at the moment so I thought I’d share with you what I have been loving recently – so I’m doing a favorites post! If you want to see my last one – check it out here πŸ™‚

1. Myfitnesspal

I have started using my fitness pal again this month after Jonas started to use it and urged me to use it as well. It’s a great way of keeping track of the food you eat and of your macros. I used to use it several years ago but it wasn’t accurate as I didn’t have food scales – now that I bought some I find it really fun to track all the food I eat and see what nutrients and macronutrients I get throughout the day.

2. Water

I have been staying really hydrated this week and I think it not only has to do with the fact that it is summer but also because I also track my water intake through my fitness pal as well. I feel a lot more energized and hydrated!

3. Lindt Creation- Pistachio Delight

Found this chocolate this week after having dinner with Roaa at Prezzo and I am in love! It is so delicious! It’s dark chocolate with a pistachio filling which has almond pieces in it. So satisfying and scrumptious! I’ve been having a piece or two as my dessert in the evenings.

4. Raspberries

Blueberries and strawberries are always my go to but this week I bought some fresh raspberries and I am so happy I did! I had forgotten how much I like these berries! They also remind me of home as my grandparents from my mom’s side have their own raspberries and I remember my brother, my cousin and me always running to get some from their garden when we were little!

5. CND Shellac nail polish in Pink Bikini

Quite girly… I know. But with my report and presentation being finished I had to treat myself and get a gel manicure. As it’s summer I chose Pink Bikini by Shellac – I had this color twice before and really loved it. It’s a hot pink with a cool undertone and it’s really fun and bright for the summer. I must also add – the lady that did my nails this time did an amazing job as I’ve had them for a week now and there hasn’t been any chipping whatsoever! I’m already trying to book my next appointment to get a different color when these grow out next week!

6. Sophie’s world by Jostein Gaarden

This is a book Jonas recommended I read as it’s a great introduction into philosophy. The book is set in a fictional world where a 14 year old girl named Sophie receives anonymous letters which lead to endless pages of philosophy courses from her teacher. It’s both fascinating in the fictional aspect of the girl and the teacher but it’s also a great insight into how philosophy came about and what the main thoughts of the world’s most famous philosophers were. I’ve been reading it at lunch time at work as well as when I’m traveling and I can’t wait to read more of it!

7. What’s in my mouth challenge on Paulius’ YouTube channel

If you haven’t seen the video we filmed with Paulius for his channel – check it out here. It’s probably the funniest thing I have ever done. Also – subscribe to his channel! He is one of the nicest and funniest guys I know! I’m sure you will love his videos!

I also have one more favorite that I have been extremely and absolutely in love with this week. I can’t share it with you now, BUT I will do after my birthday (which is in a couple of weeks time!) ❀

Talk to you soon! -new recipe up on Sunday!
