Restaurant Review: Girl’s night at Prezzo

So last night my friend Roaa and I went out for dinner at Prezzo to celebrate the end of deadlines at work. We had given formal presentations and wanted to celebrate 🙂 Having started using myfitnesspal this week, I wanted to go to a place that has nutritional information on their food, therefore one of the places that I had looked at and chose was Prezzo. I had eaten there once before and loved it so was really excited to try one of their light pizzas out as it fit into my macros.

We got there and the interior was really nice – big open windows with mirrors on the wall and a bar with wines on display.

I ordered an Aperol Spritz and a tap water. This is the first time I tried and aperol spritz and I really liked it! It was light and bubbly and I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. It consists of Aperol, Prosecco and Soda water.

For my main I got a light margherita pizza. The way they describe it online is as a smaller flatbread pizza which I liked as I like thin crust and stuffed crust pizzas the most. I opted for a minimal yet classic margherita as I was really craving something with cheese and quite plain. It was delicious – the dough was perfectly rested and chewy and the sauce had a very homemade taste to it. It really reminded me of the pizzas Paulius and I made a couple of weeks back at home. I am posting a blog post about how we made out pizzas this weekend so keep an eye out for a photo and pizza filled post! I also really liked how the pizza came with a side salad and dressing as I was contemplating ordering a side salad anyways. It was a really lovely meal and I am definitely going to go back and try some more of their light pizzas!
