If you’ve seen my chocolate banana peanut butter smoothie recipe, then you will understand how this recipe came about. I loved that smoothie so much, I turned it into a lighter smoothie bowl. Pretty much, smoothie bowls are a thicker in consistency version of a smoothie that you can eat from a bowl with various toppings and that makes it a bit more filling. Plus it’s a lot of fun! 🙂

This one is my go-to nowadays when I want something really sweet and similar to ice cream. Try it out if you are a chocolate lover like me!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp cocoa powder
3 dried, pitted dates
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
3/4 cup milk of your choice (I normally use almond)
Procedures:
1. Put all the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until incorporated. If it is too thick to blend – add milk accordingly.
2. Pour into a bowl and serve with toppings of your choice. I normally opt for dried coconut, goji berries, blueberries, strawberries and cacao nibs.

that is so funny, i actually just made this yesterday! it is a divine recipe. healthy people seriously laugh all the way to the health food store in my opinion. it tastes like junkfood! and its good for you! i love the toppings you put on yours though, it makes it look professional.
