Coffee, chocolates and a good read.

Sometimes we all just need some time to relax, unwind and destress. I posted a blogpost a few months ago about my tips for relaxing and destressing and decided to use my advice myself. It’s been really busy at work and I have been really tired when I come back that I tend to just have dinner and not do anything. This week I decided to relax a bit after work and do something I enjoy- writing and reading!

I received an amazing package from home full of some delicious Lithuanian treats and some clothes I had left at home. In the box were some meats, bread, cheese and CHOCOLATES! Now, a cup of coffee and some chocolate after work is always a good idea in my opinion so that’s what I’ve been enjoying recently.

I also asked my mom to send me the newest edition of the magazine Beatos Virtuve which is written by one of our friends who has a food brand and website back home πŸ™‚ I was extremely excited to get this and spent my entire tuesday evening reading through her magazine and looking for inspiration and ideas.

I have also been enjoying my book which I have finally finished – Welcome To Rosie Hopkin’s Sweet Shop of Dreams by Jenny Colgan. It was such a lovely light book that I enjoyed a lot. I am now starting Coco’s Secret by Niamh Greene- a book I received as a present from my brother a while back and started in the summer yet haven’t finished it so I decided to start it again and enjoy it completely πŸ™‚

With a cup of coffee and some chocolate in hand I am writing this post… another thing I have enjoyed doing. Getting my thoughts out there, writing new recipes and putting ideas on my blog. Sometimes its fun to just write what you feel and what you think. So here I am πŸ™‚  Getting my ideas out, enjoying a wonderful cup of hot coffee and about to go read my new book! Have a lovely day my dear readers ❀

P.S. A new recipe will be up tomorrow! – my go-to Chocolate Chip Cookies πŸ™‚
