Recipe: apple & cinnamon oatmeal

This weekend I came up with this warm and delicious cinnamon and apple oatmeal recipe that Jonas asked me to make for him again on sunday πŸ™‚ I love this combination of apple and cinnamon a lot! Especially  during the cold winter months.      This recipe is quite easy and only takes about 10 minutes:) I hope you try it out!:)

Recipe (makes 2 portions)

Ingredients:

1 cup porridge oats

1.5 cups of milk

.5 cups water

1/4 cup raisins

1 diced apple

1.5 tbsp ground cinnamon 

Procedures: 

1. Dice apple and place in a pot along with the raisins. Add water and let this mixture come up to a boil and let it cook for about 2 minutes.

2. Add oats and milk to the raisin and apple mixture- cook on a low simmer for about 5 minutes. 

3. Turn off heat and mix in cinnamon.

4. Serve with some more apple slices, raisins and cinnamon if you want and enjoy!      Quite simple yet very satisfying and delicious! Let me know if you enjoyed it! X
