This weekend I came up with this warm and delicious cinnamon and apple oatmeal recipe that Jonas asked me to make for him again on sunday 🙂 I love this combination of apple and cinnamon a lot! Especially during the cold winter months. This recipe is quite easy and only takes about 10 minutes:) I hope you try it out!:)
Recipe (makes 2 portions)
1 cup porridge oats
1.5 cups of milk
.5 cups water
1/4 cup raisins
1 diced apple
1.5 tbsp ground cinnamon
1. Dice apple and place in a pot along with the raisins. Add water and let this mixture come up to a boil and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
2. Add oats and milk to the raisin and apple mixture- cook on a low simmer for about 5 minutes.
3. Turn off heat and mix in cinnamon.
