Wednesday morning I experimented with some ingredients I had and made a green smoothie that I can’t stop craving! It’s fresh, healthy and very nutritious and I really wanted to share it with you! It’s quite light so if I have it for breakfast – I have been having it with a little snack on the side like some quark with fruit, a grapefruit or a rivita flatbread with some arugola and parmesan.
I call this my TROPICAL Green smoothie!
1 apple (cut but skin left on)
1 cup spinach
1 cup kale
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
5-6 mint leaves
1/2 cup coconut water
1. Put all the ingredients into a high-power blender and blend until completely smooth.
2. I like to add a little bit of almond-milk soaked chia seeds on mine to add some healthy fats and some frozen raspberries to decorate… 🙂
